Two Biomedical Imaging graduates defending this week

What a great week. Two former Biomedical Imaging students are defending this week. 

Mojataba, from Iran, started in the programme 2012 and continued with hid PhD research in Faculty of medicine. He’s thesis it titled “Multidimensional Embedded MEMS Motion Detectors for Wearable Mechanocardiography and 4D Medical Imaging”. His opponent is Prof. Kouhyar Tavakolian from the University of North Dakota. You can read more about his research here (in Finnish).

Mojtaba’s defence is held on Friday December 14th at noon in Publicum, Pub 2-lecture hall.

Natalia, from Russia, started her studies in the Biomedical Imaging programme 2013, and is already defending her PhD thesis. The title of her thesis is “Histological detection and prognostic value of regulators of metaphase-anaphase transition in breast cancer” and her opponent will be Johan Hartman from Karolinska Institut, Sweden. Read more about her research here (in Finnish).
