Turku BioImaging Research Managers Pasi Kankaanpää and Tiina Saanijoki are actively participating in defining the new strategy of the region of Southwest Finland, extending up until 2040. The work was kicked off with a one-day online Partnership Forum on 26 Nov 2020. More than 100 key partners of the region, from municipalities, state, universities, associations and industry, joined together to discuss the directions of the new strategy. Elements related to bioimaging were also brought up. The work now continues in smaller teams that develop different parts of the strategy.
