New metadata recommendations to enable reuse of microscopy data

A large international team has in the last couple of years developed recommendations for metadata for biological light and electron microscopy images. The aim of the project is to help unlock the potential of reusing bioimaging data, by improving systemic archiving of data and metadata in public databases. Pasi Kankaanpää from TBI has participated in this work, which has now been published in Nature Methods: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41592-021-01166-8
