Published Wednesday, April 4th, 2018

Markku Saari from the Turku Cell Imaging Core went to learn more on core practices in University of Western Australia. He participated to a 2 weeks job shadowing program organized by Global BioImaging and Euro-BioImaging networks by visiting the Centre for Microscopy, Characterisation and Analysis (CMCA) at University of Western Australia, Perth, Australia. Visit was hosted by microscopy experts Dr. Paul Rigby and Alysia Hubbard.

Great University, awesome imaging unit, friendly imaging folk and many good discussions with new ideas made the trip perfect!

The Global BioImaging Project enables Euro-BioImaging to follow-up on the existing collaboration agreements with Australia and India with concrete measures and to reach out to new international partners in North and South America, Africa and Asia to develop a sustainable network of collaborating imaging infrastructures.
