The Biomedical Imaging Masters Program students and some Turku BioImaging personnel visited Imaging facilities in Helsinki 22.11.2017.

The excursion started in Viikki campus, where Helsinki light and electron microscopy imaging units were presented to the visitors.

The excursion continued to the Meilahti campus, where FIMM (Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland) presented High content microscopy.

Merja Lohela from Biological Imaging unit (BIU) in Meilahti gave an interesting lecture about Intravital microscopy and after that their light microscopy facilities were shown.

Thank you Leena Meriläinen and others from Helsinki BioImaging for organizing such an interesting and fun day exploring the microscopes and imaging!
